Handy Croissant moves to fortnightly meetings to allow more business owners to benefit from high quality networking

As a successful networking group of over 18 years, with members busy serving their clients, it’s natural that Handy Croissant members are often time-constrained, making it difficult to attend every week.

However, Handy Croissant members are passionate about the group and value the support, learning and referrals it brings. We are keen to grow the group to bring these benefits to even more people, while also expanding the potential for referrals.

As a result, from the beginning of November, Handy Croissant will meet fortnightly rather than weekly. This will help ensure members can strike an ideal balance between networking and running our businesses. It will also allow the numerous visitors who loved the group but were unable to commit to weekly meetings to participate in the group.

So, if you’ve visited us previously or considered attending but were discouraged by the prospect of a weekly commitment, now’s the ideal time to reconsider and secure your place for your particular discipline.

Meetings for the rest of 2018 and early 2019 are:

  • November 9, 13.
  • December 7, 21 (group Christmas lunch).
  • 11, 25.
  • February 8, 22.

Regatta Prize Draw

Handy Croissant had a stall at this years’ Marlow Regatta. Polmac one of our member businesses designed and supplied this custom-made wood Champagne presentation box which formed part of the Prize Draw prizes. Attendees of the regatta were invited to enter the draw by leaving their business cards. The draw was won by the charity Carers Bucks.  Information regarding this charity can be found here http://www.carersbucks.org/

Marlow Regatta

Handy Croissant team members led by Liz, all contributed to creating a presence at the regatta. Members created the literature, an other printed the literature, the stall and marquees was erected by the strongest and bravest (even erecting other marquees close by) . Liz arranged for entertainment in the way of Barry (see photo below – yes, that shirt is his setting-up clothes), seriously… in the way of a stilt walking juggle!
The weather was perfect and the event was well attended.
